OFF WE GO

The three of us left from the Bay Area on a west coast 10 day road trip.

Where oh where to start?

NORTH

It was decided. Destined for snow capped mountains.

EASTERN SIERRAS

Was the perfect first move. Scenic mountains without freezing our balls off at night, it was the perfect place to camp for a night before the journey south east.

We pitched up our Chillbo Cabbins with confidence and we popped against the taupe and earth green backdrops.

TIME TO TAKE OFF

but not until the coffee kicks in.

ALABAMA HILLS

WISHLIST

This one was on Nick's list of spots to find. What a trip, these rocky formations traveled for miles into these hills.

Can you find Waldo?

THE GRAND CANYON

EPIC. Haven't been here since I was a little kid but the visuals stand out so much in my mind. The lines in the horizon are so symmetrical it is quite a trip.

We decided to post up our tent for sunset beer hang.

DEATH VALLEY

Outside of the air conditioned car in this place could only last so long here. We wanted to snap some photos in our Chillbo Shwaggins, so we inflated journeyed on.

SEDONA

Magic.

The majestic red rock scenery and evergreen vegetation are two reasons for the unique energy of this place. It is said to have regenerative and inspirational effects. ... also known for the uplifting power of its Vortex meditation sites.

It's kind of a feeling you need to experience for yourself.

We highly recommend it.

Shwaggins puppetry. Who wants to lay on rocks? Well, sometimes. But the wind in this little vortex was perfect for a 10 second inflation and beneficial lounging.

JOSHUA TREE

Is a peaceful little dream land.

There is something about this place that has such a calming feel to it. The desert vibes are strong here. We wanted to see how high we could climb and Chillbo.

HIDDEN VALLEY CAMPGROUND

Favorite campground of the trip.

There was a hidden little pathway behind our camp that you could access and climb above the whole landscape. So we broke out the whiskey around the fire place and went rock hopping for the rest of the night.

UNTIL NEXT TIME

Nick, Mattias & Syra

signing off.
